Full-Service On-Site Training

onsite training The American Red Cross has been an unbiased, credible source of public health and safety information for more than 100 years. It is our goal to provide high quality programs for a reasonable fee. We also strive to meet your organization's specific needs. Qualified, experienced American Red Cross Instructors will present your program in a professional, exciting manner. Videos, hands-on involvement, and discussion are the methodology commonly used in our programs.

At the end of each class you will be invoiced for the "minimum fee per facilitator"(10 students), or you will be charged the "per participant fee" (whichever is greater).

Programs can be offered at the location of your choice seven days a week; days, evenings, or weekends - simply tell us when and we will do the rest.

CPR/AED - Adult for the Workplace

This program gives individuals in the workplace the knowledge and skills necessary to recognize and provide basic care for breathing and cardiac emergencies until advanced medical personnel arrive and take over.

Length of Course: 4.5 hours
Certificate Validity: 1 year
Cost: $85.00 per person

Standard First Aid & CPR/AED - Adult for the Workplace

This program gives individuals in the workplace the knowledge and skills necessary to recognize and provide basic care for injuries and sudden illnesses until advance medical personnel arrive and take over. This program includes Adult CPR and basic First Aid.

Length of Course: 8 hours
Certificate Validity: CPR/AED - Adult - 1 year. Standard First Aid - 3 years.

First Aid

This program will give individuals in the workplace the knowledge and skills necessary to recognize and provide basic care for injuries and sudden illnesses until advance medical personnel arrive and take over. This course does not include information on breathing or cardiac care.

Cost: $75.00 per person

Bloodborne Pathogens - Preventing Disease Transmission

This program will train employee's with safe workplace practices, to report and follow up on employee exposures to infectious materials, and to reduce the number of employees who contract bloodborne infections, such as hepatitis B virus (HBV) and human immunodeficiency virus (HIV), at their work site.

Course Length: 2 hours
Certificate Validity: 1 Year
Cost: $70.00 per person as a stand-alone class or $10.00 per person if added on to another course.

Emergency Response

This program is our advanced first aid course, which is specifically designed for First Responder teams. It is a 54-hour course meeting DOT standards.

Certificates Validity: CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer - 1 year
Oxygen Administration & Preventing Disease Transmission - 1 year
Emergency Response - 3 years
Cost: $315.00 per person

CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer

This program will teach professional rescuers (those with a duty to respond) the skills needed to respond appropriately to respiratory and cardiac emergencies.

Course Length: 9 hours
Certificate Validity: 1 year; 2 year certification available for healthcare providers.
Cost: $100.00 per person

Sports Safety Training with Adult & Child CPR

This course was developed with the United States Olympic Committee to provide individuals with the knowledge and skills necessary to provide a safe environment to adult and child athletes while they are participating in sports. Participants will learn how to respond to an emergency, to help sustain life and minimize the consequences of injury or sudden illness until medical help arrives.

Course Length: 8 hours
Certificate Validity: Adult and Child CPR - 1 year Sports Safety Training - 3 years
Cost: $90.00 With Adult only: $85.00

Lifeguard Training

This course will teach individuals the skills and knowledge needed to prevent and respond to aquatic emergencies.

Prerequisites:

Minimum age of 15
Swim 300 yards continuously
100 Crawl, 100 breaststroke, 100 participant choice (Crawl or breast)
Swim 20 yards Retrieve a 10-pound object from a depth of 7+ feet and swim back

Course Length: 28.25 hours
Certificate Validity: Lifeguard - 3 years
CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer - 1 year
