INTERNSHIPS

The Dallas Area Chapter of the American Red Cross provides opportunities for students who must obtain hours for graduation purposes. All internships are un-paid, unless otherwise noted, and students selected will be required to comply with the chapter's standard volunteer application process. Some internships offer flexible hours and may be arranged to fit various schedules. In some instances, internships can be tailored to meet individual curriculum needs.

Institutional Giving Team Student Intern
The Intern will assist with the Institutional Giving Team by researching corporate and foundation donors, aid with special event preparations and prepare fundraising materials for the special event, corporate and foundation segments.

Communications and Marketing Intern
The Communications and Marketing Intern will assist the Communications staff in building awareness of the programs and services offered by the American Red Cross-Dallas Area Chapter. The Communications and Marketing Intern will have a unique opportunity to learn about non-profit public affairs through hands-on activities and exposure to a wide range of departmental activities and projects, including disaster response, special events and program areas.

Disaster Caseworker Auditor Intern
The Disaster Caseworker Auditor Intern ensures that the Dallas Area Chapter is adhering to financial audit procedures established by NHQ for Disaster Services cases. In addition, this individual will create policies and procedures regarding disaster casework for the Dallas Area Chapter.
